Business Meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month at 8:00pm\

February 2nd, 2022 was the last business meeting that will be accessible via zoom, future meetings will be held in person only.

"Effective 0700 hours 6/4/21 a burn ban will be put in place restricting all burn permits from being issued. Small recreational fires will still be allowed that are contained in a fire pit. Please use caution and have water or an extinguishing agent near by."

Effective 0000 hrs on 3/27/21 the current burning ban will be lifted for the areas of Antwerp and Almena Townships covered by the Mattawan Fire District. If you're going to burn please practice fire safety. Always have water or an extinguisher near by and make sure the wind isn't blowing. If for any reason the fire gets out of control call 911 early.
